New datasets and a new look for the CVDKP

Datasets from two just-published studies are now available in the Cardiovascular Disease Knowledge Portal for viewing and downloading, and the CVDKP site has been updated with a fresh new look for faster page loading and more efficient navigation.

The menu across the top of CVDKP pages has been streamlined, and the previous Data page has been separated into two pages: a Datasets page listing and describing all of the genetic association datasets, and a Downloads page listing all data files available for download.

We have added datasets from two studies:

  • The UK Biobank atrial fibrillation exome sequence analysis dataset is a downloadable file of gene-level atrial fibrillation association scores generated by Seung Hoan Choi, Sean Jurgens, and colleagues, working with Steven Lubitz and Patrick Ellinor (Choi SH, Jurgens SJ, et al.
Monogenic and Polygenic Contributions to Atrial Fibrillation Risk: Results From a National Biobank, Circ Res, 126 (2), 200-209 2020 Jan 17.)
  • The HERMES heart failure GWAS dataset is a GWAS meta-analysis for genetic associations with heart failure, across 26 studies including nearly a million individuals, as published by the Heart Failure Molecular Epidemiology for Therapeutic Targets (HERMES) consortium (Shah S, Henry A, et al, Nat Commun 11 (1), 163 2020 Jan 9). Associations are integrated into CVDKP tools and interfaces, and summary statistic files are also available for download.
