The Human Genetics Amplifier is a software platform and ecosystem of interconnected web portals that integrate, interpret, and present human genetic and genomic data to spark insights into complex diseases.

The Knowledge Portals:

  • aggregate comprehensive data relevant to diseases and traits;

  • harmonize and analyze the data;

  • represent the data in a way that helps researchers to distill meaning from them; and

  • provide interactive tools for custom analyses that access individual-level data in a secure manner.

We welcome new collaborations. Please contact us at help@kp4cd.org.

What's new

In our January 14, 2021 webinar, Dr. Suna Onengut-Gumuscu (University of Virginia) gave an overview of type 1 diabetes biology, progression, and genetics; Dr. Kyle Gaulton (University of California at San Diego) discussed functional characterization of T1D-associated loci, and Noël Burtt of the Knowledge Portal team (Broad Institute) demonstrated the T1DKP.

This Thursday, January 14th at 12pm EST, join our webinar to learn about type 1 diabetes and how the T1D Knowledge Portal will facilitate research into this disease. Dr. Suna Onengut will present an overview of T1D and the progress to date on elucidating its genetics. Dr. Kyle Gaulton will talk about current work on translating T1D genetic signals into knowledge about effector genes and pathways. Then Noël Burtt from the Portal team will give a brief demonstration of the T1DKP and talk about how it will develop in the coming years.

The Sleep Disorder Knowledge Portal (SDKP; sleepdisordergenetics.org) has now transitioned to a new data and software platform, the Human Genetics Amplifier (HuGeAMP).

The Cerebrovascular Disease Knowledge Portal (CDKP; cerebrovascularportal.org) has now transitioned to a new data and software platform, the Human Genetics Amplifier (HuGeAMP).
