This study was performed under the direction of Principal Investigators Jer-Yuarn Wu, PhD and Tsong-Hai Lee, MD, PhD at the following institutions: Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan; Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou Medical Center, and Chang Gung University College of Medicine, Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Experiment summary
Genotyping was performed using the Affymetrix GeneTitan chip or Axiom Genome-Wide CHB Array Plate. Subjects included 444 individuals with LAA stroke and 1727 controls as well as 342 individuals with SAO stroke and 1731 controls. All subjects were from a Han Chinese population residing in Taiwan.
